Not Your Average Grade 1: Why Our Fabric Program Starts Strong đŸ’Ș

Let’s be honest—“Grade 1” (or Grade A, or entry-level... whatever you want to call it) has a bit of a reputation. It’s usually code for “basic” or “just enough to get by.”

But at Flexxform? That’s not how we roll.

Our Grade 1 is anything but basic. It’s not entry-level in quality—it’s just where our pricing starts. And compared to what most others offer in their mid-to-high grades? Ours stacks up really, really well.

🔎 So what makes our Grade 1 different?

1. It’s all commercial grade—no shortcuts.

From top to bottom, our entire graded-in program uses commercial-grade upholstery. That means everything is built to handle high-traffic spaces like schools, libraries, airports, and more. We don’t grade in residential fabrics to hit a lower price point. If it’s not tough enough to handle the real world, it doesn’t make the cut.

2. Our Grade 1 is often their Grade 3. Seriously.

We’ve seen it more times than we can count: the exact same fabric we offer in our Grade 1 is listed by a competitor as Grade 2 or Grade 3. So yeah, their Grade 1 might look cheaper on paper—but you’re not comparing apples to apples.

Even our Grade 1 pricing usually lines up with competitors’ Grade 3, because we’ve packed more performance and style into that starting price. You’re getting more value right out of the gate.

3. More options. Way more.

A lot of companies limit their Grade 1–3 fabrics to one small collection with just a few safe color choices. Not us.

We give you a whole range of Grade 1 options—textures, colors, and finishes that would fall into Grade 2, 3, or even 4 with other manufacturers. Translation? You’re not stuck with the same old gray or beige.

4. Grade 1 ≠ entry-level. It’s quality level.

Let’s set the record straight: Grade 1 at Flexxform doesn’t mean it’s the “starter pack.” It just means it’s where our pricing begins. We’ve built this category around high-performance, high-style fabrics that are made to last, not made to cut corners.

Final takeaway?

If you're shopping around and comparing fabric grades, make sure you're really comparing what’s in those grades. Because Grade 1 at Flexxform isn’t the same as Grade 1 anywhere else.

It’s stronger. It lasts longer. And it gives you way more bang for your buck.
